In April of this year, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics was asked to do the make up for the Stella McCartney fashion show at Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston on Tuesday, May 5. I know – I should have posted this sooner. It seems I have a tendency to go on a posting rampage and then ignore my lil blog for a bit.
It was such a pleasure to not only participate in this event, but to work with the lovely models. I wasn’t sure what to expect for my first professional fashion show, but these ladies (and gent) were all so friendly and an easy laugh. I loved learning about their careers and work history. Someone on our team made a joke about how they must never eat, but they were quick with a rebuttal saying models have some of the healthiest appetites around.
Trinity Kizer was the lead make up artist and designed the look: fresh skin, bright and clean eyes: a look Stella loves and is known for. The buzz of the day didn’t wane for hours after it was over. The private event was a great success and although I never saw Ms. McCartney in the flesh (she was there, I just didn’t actually SEE her), I am honored to have been a part of this event and day.

And now for the professional photos!

I also shot a fun video of the final walk out. Unfortunately I haven’t figured out a way to imbed it here, so please click here instead. Thanks!
